Petanque på DEG

In the frame of Oslo Kulturnatt 2016 antipodes café organised an open petanque workshop in the middle of the main avenue of the new financial centre of Oslo, Dronning Eufemias gate (DEG), using the not-in-use tram lines as borders of the improvised fields ended by wooden sticks.

Oslo Petanque Club directed the workshop teaching all visitors some basic tips for enjoying the sport, coffee was served and people around fascinated with adults enjoying this unexpected playground.
Play in grass is not so easy, they said, making the game more balanced between professionals and first time players. We like when that happen.
